Jessica and Michael saw potential the moment they first stepped onto the farm. After countless hours of planning and help from friends and family, their dream has become a reality and they are excited to share it with YOU!!!

Meet the Team

  • Jessica is a dedicated Administrative Assistant at a local private school, where she expertly manages schedules and supports the school community. On weekends, she transforms her passion into a thriving business as the co-manager of Evergreen Farms, a picturesque wedding venue.

    Driven by a vision, Jessica set her sights on converting a 1950's chicken coop into a charming space that now hosts beautiful celebrations. Her journey involved more than just hard work; it was a labor of love that included countless hours of sketching, drawing, and planning to breathe life into her dream venue.

    Jessica finds immense joy in meeting new clients and listening to their love stories. She believes that each love story is unique, and her venue serves as the perfect canvas for couples to paint their own beautiful chapters. As a passionate and caring individual, Jessica strives to create an atmosphere where love, warmth, and memories flourish.

    Balancing her roles, Jessica creates memorable experiences for both students during the week and couples celebrating their love on the weekends.

  • Michael, is a true community hero with an unwavering dedication to service. For an incredible 37 years, Michael has been a devoted volunteer at the Dayville Fire Company, where his commitment to saving lives and offering assistance has left an indelible mark.

    In the past two years, Michael has taken on the pivotal role of Fire Chief at Dayville Fire, showcasing not only his experience but also his passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of the community. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering a culture of volunteerism and selfless service.

    Beyond the uniform and the title, Michael is driven by a genuine desire to help others. Whether responding to emergencies, coordinating community outreach programs, or providing vital training, his efforts reflect a deep-seated commitment to making a positive impact.

    In a world where heroes often go unsung, Michael stands out as a beacon of selflessness and community spirit. His story is a testament to the power of volunteerism and the profound impact one person can have on the lives of many.

  • Gahrett Bond is the Assistant Chief at Dayville Fire Company, bringing his extensive experience as a career firefighter in New Port, RI, to his leadership role. With nine years of dedicated volunteer service in Dayville, Gahrett is committed to enhancing community safety and support. In addition to his firefighting duties, he enjoys maintaining the venue property, ensuring it remains a welcoming space for local events. A lifelong friend to many, Gahrett is known for his unwavering dedication to both his profession and his community.

    A non-competitive fundraising event for the Killingly public schools.

  • 2023- The Arc Bike Run

    The Arc Eastern Connecticut, established by two groups of families in 1952, provides advocacy and supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities across the entire region. Our services touch every aspect of a person's life: housing, employment/job development, vocational/micro-enterprise ventures, education, day programs, in-home supports, Senior services, health/fitness activities, and community involvement.

  • 2023- Ellis Tech Wrestling 5K Color Run

    This race is to benefited the Ellis Tech Wrestling Team on their way to Florida to wrestle in December 2023.

  • 2024- Putnam's Fire & Ice Festival

    Putnam Business Association in partnership with The Town of Putnam, will once again host the largest single ice block competition in New England – the 13th Annual Fire & Ice Festival.

    This free community event boasts more than five dozen ice carvings, interactive ice photo opportunities, a 30-foot inflatable igloo, character meet and greets, stilt-walking roaming entertainment and a giant heart shaped bon-fire, glowing fire torches, epic fire dancing performances, a cake decorating contest, and so much more. The 13th Annual FIRE & ICE: A Valentine's Festival cannot be missed!

    This badge is a mark of excellence, earned through best-in-class service for our couples, from initial inquiry to final send-off.

  • 2024- DKH Beer & Wine Tasting Fundraiser

    Funds raised benefited the NECT Cancer Fund of DKH which provides financial assistance to residents of Northeast Connecticut who need resources to obtain cancer services and treatment. The event was a huge success! Looking forward to hosting again in May 2025!!

    In February we were pleasantly surprised to receive a call from a Connecticut Bride Magazine journalist! They requested an interview and for our story featured in the Spring 2024 edition. Of course we said YES!! Read the article HERE!

  • Hope K9-63

    On November 30th, 2024, The Dayville Fire Company received a donation from Evergreen Farms. Please welcome the newest member of the Dayville Fire Department, Hope! Hope will provide emotional support and comfort to first responders and those impacted by traumatic events.

  • Run For Ryan

    The proceeds from this event support the “Ryan French Memorial Scholarship Fund” which provides Scholarships to well deserving Killingly Ag-Ed Seniors going onto higher education. 

    Since its inception in 2017, the Ryan French Memorial Scholarship Fund has provided over $23,000 in Scholarships to 41 Ag-Ed Seniors.
